Job Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC-II) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing counseling and support to patients dealing with substance abuse issues. Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide clinical counseling and therapy sessions to individuals and groups
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations
- Offer crisis intervention services to patients in need of immediate assistance
- Conduct child and family counseling sessions as needed
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support patients in achieving recovery goals
- Collaborate with medical professionals in hospitals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform patient assessments and monitor progress throughout treatment
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license as a Chemical Dependency Counselor
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and clinical counseling sessions
- Experience in medical documentation and maintaining behavioral health records
- Ability to provide crisis intervention services effectively
- Knowledge of child and family counseling practices
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques for addiction treatment
- Previous experience working in hospital settings is a plus
